Welcome to the New Patient Center for Moon Chiropractic!
Upon entering our office, our front desk specialists will welcome you as a member of our family. We look forward to working with you on getting your health back on track.
What to expect as a new patient
Coming to a new chiropractic office can be daunting for many, especially if this is your first time seeing a chiropractor. We offer an initial consultation to first determine if we can help with your problem.
We are going to make that transition much easier for you, outlining exactly what to expect in your first discussion with the chiropractor.
Once you have scheduled your appointment, which you can do online here. You will receive a confirmation email and text prior to your first visit to confirm your time with us. We can answer any questions you may have, and help you with directions by replying to our text or calling our office.
In order to gather all the information necessary to help you best, you will be asked to fill out our initial paperwork. This form outlines your current problems and asks questions about your health history and profile.
You can complete this form in the office if you choose, if so you will be asked to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment.
Otherwise, if you have a busy schedule, you can complete your initial paperwork prior to your appointment, by downloading and printing this document: Click below to download.
If you do not already have AdobeReader® installed on your computer, download it here.
Bring your printed and completed forms with you to your appointment.
Our step by step process
STEP 1 – You will sit down with Dr. Spiropoulos and explain your current problem. Dr. Spiropoulos will ask you further questions about your health and your history to fully understand how best to help. Our number 1 priority here is to ensure you feel UNDERSTOOD.
STEP 2 – Once we have all the information about your health, if Dr. Spiropoulos feels he can help you, you can proceed with a paid examination. The comprehensive examination will include a posture exam, neurological and orthopedic examination, plus a chiropractic examination.
Dr. Spiropoulos will examine your entire body as a whole, not just the area that is in pain.
STEP 3 – Once the examination is complete Dr. Spiropoulos will sit down with you and explain the findings. We make sure to do this in an easy to understand way.
STEP 4 – First Adjustment. After the examination, if it seems that you are a candidate for chiropractic care, Dr. Spiropoulos will provide your first chiropractic adjustment. Depending on you, your preferences, body type and condition, Dr. Spiropoulos will use appropriate techniques. If you are not a candidate for chiropractic care, we will refer you to the person who can best help you.
STEP 5 – In order to get the full picture of your spinal health, we may recommend spinal x-rays. The x-rays will be conducted on site and will be reviewed by Dr. Spiropoulos.
STEP 6 – Your next appointment, Dr. Spiropoulos will explain your condition in further detail and if x-rays were taken, walk you through the x-ray findings. Dr. Spiropoulos will outline treatment options, explaining costs and recovery times. There will be no hidden surprises with our care. From here, we will work together to help you achieve your goals. Your subsequent appointments will consist of treatments only. Re-examination will be performed periodically.
You will never feel rushed in your treatments. Dr. Spiropoulos will always examine your body at each visit and adjust where necessary.
